Adventure adult games
Adventure is a broad tag for games driven by exploration and story progression: moving between locations, talking to people, finding items and unlocking the next chapter. It overlaps heavily with Visual Novel, Point & Click and Sandbox, and the balance between reading and actually playing varies a great deal.
If you like quests and discovery, look for titles that also carry the Sandbox or RPG tags. If you want a tight narrative with a clear direction, pair Adventure with Visual Novel or Multiple Endings instead. In larger games, a built-in hint system or walkthrough mod is a real quality-of-life bonus.
